IN a dark room subtly concealed behind drapes of crimson velvet, a beautiful redhead in lingerie suggestively blows into a long balloon. With each deep heave of her chest, the balloon swells until it reaches the length and width of her own forearm. In full view of over a dozen onlookers, she begins swallowing the balloon inch by inch. As shock and awe cascades across the room, the balloon moves deeper until it becomes lost behind the girl’s glossy red lipstick. With the grace of a ballet dancer gone bad, she performs a brief erotic dance routine, extends a cheeky smile towards the audience and simply walks off stage. She calls herself Madeline Glasseater and at this moment in time she commands everyone’s attention with the  authority of a military leader.

A week later and I still fail to adequately explain what I witnessed that night.
